Jerica Lamar
is a military spouse, a former community college/university educator, employment training coordinator and Returned Peace Corps Volunteer.
She is also an award-winning U.S. Diplomat with 10+ years of experience serving at U.S. embassies in Kenya, Jamaica, and Mexico and in Washington D.C.
After winning over $450,000 in scholarships to fund her own education, she founded The New College Perspective to help underrepresented students access similar opportunities.
She understands firsthand the transformative power of education.
Jerica has been featured by the Fulbright Association for her work empowering students to pursue global education. She has served on two education boards: the Robertson Foundation for Government and My Tribe Media.
